League's Need to Change

Does the league want to operate as a seven team league, or does another school need to be added?
With the release of the new football district assignments for 2010 and 2011, the question is sure to be raised, “Why does Osawatomie play in the Pioneer League?”
We’ll see over the next couple of weeks if the Trojans move to the Pioneer League was a help or a hindrance when it comes to competitiveness at the state level in football.
Sure, the Trojans will enter district play with an impressive 6-0 record (barring a major upset tonight against Central Heights), but how will the Trojans fare against Paola and Louisburg, who have been battle tested against the likes of Gardner, Eudora, and each other, while the Trojans have played Central Heights, Jayhawk Linn and Prairie View, who for the most part could not punch their way out of a paper bag?
If the Trojans roll into Paola in a week and defeat the Panthers and then play tough against the Wildcats, then the move to the easier Pioneer League will be a moot point. But, if, as I expect, the Trojans struggle against the Panthers and Wildcats, and lose both those games and miss out on post season play, then what good will the glossy unbeaten Pioneer League record be?
The Trojans need to come back to the Frontier League, they need to play with the “big boys” if they want to be a viable force when post season football rolls around. With  the change in district assignments for the next two years, (Spring Hill will move into the district, and Priaire View will move out) it is a logical time for the Trojans to come back to the Frontier League where they belong.
